I’ve got a bookkeeper, why do I need FD ?
A bookkeeper can process your invoices but is unlikely to be able to analyse the information and give you answers that will impact on your profits.
A tax accountant can produce year end accounts but may not be able to manage cashflow and chase debts, or have the resources to get you vital information just when you need it.
What makes Financial Direction different?
This is our main business and we have been doing it for over fifteen years, it’s not a service tacked on to a standard accountancy practice that calculates tax and carries out audits. We have a wealth of experience in managing accounts departments, designing systems, analysing information and running real businesses.

Because our management accounts give you clear, simple, concise information on which you can base sound business decisions.
Regular reports highlighting the key financial indicators in your business will help you to quickly analyse what’s going on, to plan and to make decisions.
How important is managing cash flow?
Cash is king, especially to a growing company and cashflow can change dramatically from day to day.
We create a cashflow forecast that will predict what your bank balance might look like in six months time and will show you any pressure points that might be on the horizon. This can be a strong tool both in business planning and in building a relationship with your bank.
Where is Financial Direction and when are you available ?
We are located in Hungerford, Berkshire and work with companies all over the UK.
Working with FD you won’t have the problem of a bookkeeper being on holiday for two weeks in the summer or an accountant being too busy with other clients to see you. We are available 52 weeks of the year and often outside of normal working hours too.
